Open Labelling to add a visible AI label to your own images and videos. This supports your organisation’s transparency workflows under the EU AI Act. Your files stay on your device and nothing is uploaded.
Select Labelling from the left sidebar navigation. Drop your files onto Drop images and videos here, or select Choose files. You can add JPEG, PNG, WebP, MP4, WebM and MOV files. Select Add more files if you want to prepare a batch.
One set of label settings applies to every file in the batch.
Under Label, choose how the content should be identified:
AI
AI Generated
AI Modified
Choose EU standard or Workspace as the artwork source. Select Custom upload to use your own PNG or SVG label image.
Your workspace settings may require a particular artwork source. When that happens, the required option is locked.
Use Position to choose one of six standard positions: top left, top center, top right, bottom left, bottom center or bottom right.
You can also:
use Fine placement to adjust the X and Y offset
drag the label in the preview
resize the label
adjust Size and Opacity
Size and opacity stay within limits that keep the label legible and visible.
Check the preview, then select Download all. Image batches are packed into an archive. If your browser cannot write WebP, Samsa saves those files as PNG and lets you know.
For videos, the preview shows a representative frame and the exported label appears throughout the video. Video export depends on your browser and device: unsupported codecs, audio tracks or missing browser encoding support can prevent an individual video from exporting while images continue to work.
Export re-encodes images, so metadata from the original image, including Content Credentials, is not preserved.
Your original files remain on your device throughout the process.
