Want to change the look of an existing image — for example, turn a photo into a flat design illustration or a watercolor painting? You can do this with Magic Edit. There are two approaches:
Option 1: Use a descriptive prompt
Open the image you want to transform
Click the Magic Edit button
In the prompt field, describe the style you want — for example: "Transform this image into flat design illustration style. Don't change the composition of the original image."
Click Generate
Feel free to play around with the wording to get the best result. You can try different style descriptions and add instructions like "do not change the original image, keep everything as it is" to preserve the composition.
Option 2: Use your trained Style model
If you've trained a Style model that represents the look you want:
Open the image and click Magic Edit
In the prompt field, click the + icon
Select Styles from the dropdown
Choose your Style model — it will be added to the prompt at your cursor position
You can also type "style" after the model name to make sure the style gets applied
Click Generate
This approach gives you more consistent results, especially when applying the same style across multiple images.
Tips
Be specific about what should stay the same (e.g., "Don't change the composition")
Try different phrasings if the first result isn't perfect
A trained Style model is ideal for repeated use across many images
You can combine a Style model with additional text instructions in the same prompt
