# Vectorizing Images

Convert your images to scalable vector graphics (SVG) format.

## Convert to Vector Graphics

Vectorize transforms your raster images into scalable vector graphics (SVG). Vector images can be scaled infinitely without losing quality—perfect for logos, icons, and print materials.

### How to Vectorize an Image

1. **Select an image** from your gallery

2. **Click Vectorize** in the editing toolbar

3. **Configure settings** if needed

4. **Click Generate** to create the vector version

5. **Download as SVG** when complete

### Best Images for Vectorization

**Works great:**

- Logos and icons

- Illustrations with solid colors

- Line art and drawings

- Text-based designs

- Simple graphics and shapes

**Less suitable:**

- Photographs with gradients

- Complex textures

- Images with many colors

- Realistic scenes

### Why Use Vector Graphics?

**Infinite Scalability**

- Scale from business card to billboard

- No pixelation at any size

- Perfect for responsive design

**Smaller File Sizes**

- Often smaller than raster equivalents

- Faster loading for web

- Efficient for email and sharing

**Easy Editing**

- Edit shapes, colors, and paths

- Modify in design software

- Separate and adjust elements

### Credit Cost

Vectorization costs **5 credits** per conversion.

### Common Use Cases

- **Logo creation**: Generate logos that work at any size

- **Icon sets**: Create scalable UI icons

- **Print materials**: Ensure crisp results in print

- **Brand assets**: Build resolution-independent brand elements

- **Web graphics**: Optimize for responsive websites

### Working with SVG Files

After vectorizing, you can:

- Open in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Figma, etc.)

- Edit colors, shapes, and paths

- Export to other formats as needed

- Use directly in web projects
