Need your image in a different format? The Resize feature lets you change the aspect ratio of any image — whether you're converting a portrait shot to a landscape banner or adapting content for different social media platforms. AI automatically fills the expanded areas to seamlessly extend your image.
> Note: If you want to change the aspect ratio or extend the canvas of an image, always use Resize — not Magic Edit. Magic Edit is designed for modifying existing content within an image, not for changing its dimensions.
Open an image from your gallery — the image viewer will appear
Click Resize in the toolbar at the top
Choose an aspect ratio from the dropdown (top left) or drag the canvas handles to set a custom ratio
Position your image on the canvas — drag, scale, or rotate it to get the framing you want
Select a resolution: 1K, 2K, or 4K
Optionally add a prompt to describe what should appear in the expanded areas
Click Resize to generate your new image
The AI fills any expanded areas naturally, blending seamlessly with your original image. You don't need to add a prompt — but if you want something specific in the new areas, just describe it in the prompt field.
