Sometimes you need to remove someone from your organization — whether they've left the company, changed roles, or simply no longer need access. Here's how it works.
Owners can remove Admins and Members
Admins can remove other Admins and Members
Members cannot remove anyone
Nobody can remove the Owner — ownership must be transferred first (contact support@samsa.ai)
Go to Organization > Team
Find the member you want to remove
Click the trash icon next to their name
Confirm the removal
The removal takes effect immediately.
Once removed, the person no longer has access to:
Shared models trained by the organization
Organization credits from the shared credit pool
Shared presets created within the organization
Organization feed and shared content
The removed person keeps their personal Samsa account, including:
Their own images and videos they generated
Their own trained models (personal models, not shared ones)
Their personal account settings
They can still log in and use Samsa on their own — they just won't be part of your organization anymore.
Immediate effect: The member loses access as soon as you confirm
Seat freed up: The team seat is immediately available again, so you can invite someone else right away
No email notification: The removed member won't receive an automatic email about being removed
Re-inviting: You can always invite the person back later if needed
Admins can't remove the Owner: Only ownership transfer (via support@samsa.ai) changes who the Owner is
If you need to change who owns the organization, contact support@samsa.ai. Ownership transfers are handled manually by our team for security reasons.
